Shu Brocade originated in the ancient Bashu region and is one of the most significant representatives of traditional Chinese silk weaving craftsmanship. As Chengdu was historically known as the "City of Brocade Officials," Shu Brocade has long been honored as the "Mother of All Brocades" in China.
早在汉代，蜀锦便沿着丝绸之路远行海外，成为东西方文明交流的重要载体。它曾进入宫廷礼制体系，也曾作为珍贵礼品连接不同文明。从皇家服饰到文人雅藏，从历史典籍到博物馆珍藏，蜀锦始终代表着东方织造艺术的巅峰。
As early as the Han Dynasty, Shu Brocade traveled overseas along the Silk Road, becoming an important medium for cultural exchange between the East and the West. During production, thousands of silk threads intertwine through the precise harmony of warp and weft, creating rich layers of depth and a delicate, lustrous texture.
Unlike ordinary printed fabrics, the patterns of Shu Brocade are not applied onto the surface; they are formed through the interweaving of the threads themselves, becoming an integral part of the fabric's structure.

原纹样于1995年出土于新疆尼雅（精绝国）遗址，这件深埋地下1600年的纹样文物原件藏于新疆维吾尔自治区博物馆。
The original pattern was unearthed in 1995 at the Niya archaeological site (the ancient Kingdom of Jingjue) in Xinjiang. This historic textile artifact, which had remained buried underground for more than 1,600 years, is now preserved in the collection of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum.
